Welcome to The Moon's website, a rental chalet located in La Clusaz. We describe on this page all the conditions that apply when booking the chalet.

Booking Conditions
The requested deposit amounts to 40% of the total cost of the stay to be paid at the time of booking by bank transfer.
The balance must be paid no later than 2 weeks before the start of the stay, by check or bank transfer.
For any reservation made within 4 weeks prior to the arrival date, full prepayment of the stay will be required.
Pricing Conditions
Prices vary according to seasonality. The high season corresponds to the months of December to March inclusive. The low season corresponds to the months of April to November inclusive. During the high season, the chalet can only be rented on a weekly basis. During the low season, the chalet can be rented for a minimum of two nights. The price of the stay includes the rent, utilities (water, electricity), as well as the exit cleaning and the tourist tax. Any a la carte services chosen by the tenant will be charged additionally upon your arrival on site.
Cancellation conditions
In case of cancellation by the tenant, the following fees are retained :
• if the cancellation occurs more than 4 weeks before the arrival date, the deposit paid will be retained as indemnities.
• if the cancellation is made within 2 weeks before the arrival date, the total payment for the stay will be retained as indemnities.
Security deposit
The tenant must pay the landlord a security deposit of €7,500 upon arrival in cash or by bank transfer.
This deposit will be refunded no later than 15 days after departure, after the landlord deducts the costs for restoring the premises if any damage is found.
If the amount of the security deposit is insufficient, the tenant agrees to make up the difference after the exit inventory upon presentation of an invoice.
Rental conditions
This contract is established for a maximum occupancy capacity of the chalet of 15 people. Exceeding this number, unless agreed in writing by the owner, will constitute an immediate termination of this contract and the sums paid will not be refunded.
The reservation of the chalet is "strictly nominative" and cannot benefit a third party.
Animals are not allowed in the chalet, except with written agreement from the owner.
All interior areas of the chalet are "non-smoking".
The use of the swimming pool, jacuzzi, sauna, gym, and common areas are under the responsibility of the tenant, or failing that, of adults representing the tenant, particularly regarding the safety of children.
The tenant, signing the contract, can in no circumstances claim any right to remain in the premises at the end of the rental period.
The tenant is required to insure the chalet rented to them. They must therefore check that their main home insurance contract includes vacation rental coverage. Otherwise, they must contact their insurance company and request the extension of coverage or subscribe to a specific contract under the "vacation rental" clause.
